I remember watching some of that as a kid. Never got super in to it but maybe someday. I love going back and watching old stuff, just to put myself in the mindset of another era.

I'm with you on Mad Men. Re-watching it is my go-to if I'm gonna turn on the tv in bed to buzz out before I go to sleep.

TV: The end of the f*cking world. It's alright- over the years I find myself more and more drawn to shows that are shallow and require minimal emotional investment. Something I can only be giving 60% of my attention and still generally follow the plot.
Book: Under the volcano by malcolm lowry. Difficult and feels directionless at times, but very good.

    Uh lesse... on topic:
Still reading The Master and Margarita. Haven't read much. On deck next is Dept of Speculation by Jenny Offill.
TV wise, finished Perpetual Grace LTD (and would strongly recommend). Not sure what leap to take next but Oz is on Prime, so might give that a try. Who knows.
In movies, seen some weird ones lately. The Tin Drum (1979), Malpertuis (1971), The Lair of the White Worm (1988). Actually kinda want to go down a Ken Russell hole after that last one.
Hah, The Tin Drum, good movie.

The prequels, yeah....the story IS there but Lucas just sucked. Which I hate to say. Some good entertaining action sequences, though, which helps. Aside from the major cheese factors with the romance scenes, I actually liked a lot of Attack of the Clones.

.....latest one sucked, imo. hate to say it.
Still light years better than the prequels though, which was really all I was hoping for.
