Yesterday I finished We Were the Mulvaneys by Joyce Carol Oates. I loved it. People on goodreads had mixed feelings but I thought it was fantastic.

Just finished Mrs. Sherlock Holmes. Need another new good read. I prefer nonfiction. Open to suggestions!

Tamam Shud: The Somerton Man Mystery by Kerry Greenwood. I thought it was nonfiction but apparently there’s a bit of a novel at the end and I’m kinda bummed about that.

I don't often find myself taking on books that exceed 500 pages in length, so at page 550 I'm dancing between "this voice is so good I could read it forever" and "okay, I'm ready to do nearly anything else with my reading-life now."
